I did this too. I was a wife who had been meeting up with an old flame - but in a platonic way - but was lying to my husband about it anyway. Oh, and I’m a fucking idiot and never filled out the paperwork for my money, so I didn’t even get $35 for it. I lied on the radio for FREE. And the jackass who was supposed to play my husband never called in so that I could confess to him. Failures all around.

I ran the gambit of what emotions/questions would be running through my mind: Was he saving it to run away with someone? Did he kill someone and didn’t tell me? Am I THAT untrustworthy?
