After briefly conferring with @zeekatai I’ve determined that backdoor television pilots are the reason an advanced alien civilization might decide to annihilate us, not loose nukes.
We also came to the conclusion that a sketch about a TV pilot that keeps getting interrupted by its own backdoor spinoff pilots would be hilarious. And nearly impossible to write.
