After much deliberation, I have changed the name of my Twitter list “Permanent Follow Friday.” I no longer wanted it to seem like there are people I follow who don’t deserve endorsement. I love everyone. But there is a group of people (mostly strangers or people who I almost primarily interact with online) who sort of make up the bulk of my Twitter experience. Like being in school. You’re at school with everyone, but there are certain people who shape the experience more than others.
So I changed the name to “Daves I Know.” This was based on zero deliberation. The Kids In the Hall sketch popped into my head and I went with it.
